The Halloween map is shared around Oct. 1st. While the Christmas map is goes live around Thanksgiving.

How do I get a display on the map?

You can email admin@phillipslincolnlights.com with the location. Please try to include a picture of the display if possible. Alternatively, you can use the “Contact Us” button. Please note, you will not be able to upload photos when using the form.

How does the map work?

Great question! The map works best when using a mobile device. It would also be really beneficial to have the Google Maps app installed on the mobile device you will be using. Once you have that going simply open the map link located in the “Map” section of this site. That link should open the map in Google Maps. From there you should see your location along with markers indicating verified displays. You can then try to navigate to each stop as you go. I will try to add pictures of said to display to each marker. A music icon for the marker indicates that display has music. An FM station next to the address will tell you what station to tune to. If no FM station is listed the music is playing from speakers outside.

How do I get turn by turn navigation?

This is a tricky one because Google Maps doesn’t really have this ability with a shared map. You should be able to press a stop and get directions to that stop. But I’ve found that might get you out of my shared map so you might need hit the link again. I will create turn by turn routes for you to use and share those.

What if I want directions to a specific house that I see a photo for?

If you would like directions to a specific house - find the house in photos and click on the photo. This will open up the address in Google Maps to let you get the directions to the house.

What are the routes?

The routes are a series of predetermined stops created to help you better navigate the displays our city offers. They might have a common theme, general location in our city, or be the bigger displays for the year. They can be found in the “Map” section of this site. Clicking on the route button from a mobile device should give you turn by turn directions to each stop via Google Maps. I will try to have each route start in the center of our city so it’s closer for everyone.
